Since June 2022, the VDWF (Association of German Tool and Machine Tool Manufacturers) has been touring Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with its "Toolmaking Meeting Point" series – occasionally featuring special guest and referee legend Lutz Wagner.

The program includes company presentations and tours of the host companies, as well as Lutz Wagner's keynote address, "Decision-Making in Stressful Situations – Even Not Refereeing is a Decision." In addition, Managing Director Ralf Dürrwächter informs participants about current developments within the VDWF and invites them to a subsequent networking event with refreshments.
Thanks to the positive response to the event series, the tour didn't end after the first "season" – it continues.
