Meet the Team: Víctor M. Gutiérrez

For nearly a decade, Víctor M. Gutiérrez has been helping manufacturers across Spain make the most of their CAD/CAM technology.

As manager of Cimatron at the Spain-based Cimatech, he applies a unique combination of technical expertise and real-world insight to customer needs.

Based in Burgos, Víctor splits his time between the office, remote work, and on-site visits with customers. His role focuses on CAD/CAM applications and post-processor development, ensuring that CNC machines run efficiently, accurately, and reliably.

His ties with Cimatron began with his father, who helped bring the software to Spain and ultimately introduced it to Victor.

Today, Victor helps manufacturers operating across a wide range of industries and applications.

“Every problem is different,” says Víctor, who is particularly passionate about the variety his work offers. “No two projects are ever the same, and I enjoy finding solutions and working hand in hand with customers.”

Whether he’s helping streamline workflows or troubleshooting complex machining challenges, Victor aims to make his customers’ work easier by sharing the knowledge he has built over time.

He has found that working closely with customers and supporting them in their day-to-day operations is the most rewarding aspect of his position.

When he isn’t busy helping Cimatron users, Víctor enjoys exploring dystopian, historical, and fantasy worlds through tabletop role-playing games, video games, and books. He also competes from time to time with his rally raid car. He lives with his partner, Tania, and their two dogs, Mara and Levi.
